Ophidian Audio SEREN Loudspeaker

Seren is a standmount speaker and the first in a new range designed to fill the gap between the M-series and Incanto, Ffion and beyond.

The 7" (180mm) mid-woofer features a one piece black anodised aluminium cone with a cleverly indexed cone/surround junction which minimises reflections and maintains a smooth response through the crossover region.

The 22mm sonolex coated fabric dome tweeter is borrowed from Incanto and Ffion, featuring a wide roll surround and excellent distortion characteristics.

Aeroflex is again at the heart of the cabinet design and the sturdy 18mm thick outer casing is braced both by the internal port panels and additional bracing to further reduce cabinet colouration.

Bass response is smooth and extended and Seren has been designed to accommodate a variety of listening room sizes both smaller and larger. 

The rear panel is laser cut from 316 standard stainless steel and is finished with a pair of chromium finished binding posts from industry leaders WBT.
